Born in Perth West Australia during the Second World War, Barrie Harmsworth graduated as a mechanical engineer. With his love of adventure he moved to London, then to Dubai where he has lived for over thirty years running Green Energy Solutions. Passionate about sailing, he brings that same passion to his writing. He now embarks on yet another new project to market the latest development in wind induced ventilators. At the same time, the yatch featured in the photo, the Bin Toak, a 44ft IRC cruiser race is being refurbushed (expensive!) for the next Dubai Muscat race to be held in early November this year.
